AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT with almost $100 price cut

A deal of a lifetime?

The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT didn’t gain much popularity among gamers, mainly due to its steep price tag. Initially launched at $449, alongside the $499 RX 7800 XT, the sales volume for this card has been only a fraction of the full Navi 32-based model.

However, there’s now a promotion on the Newegg website featuring two PowerColor models priced at $353 and $357, which is nearly $100 lower than the official MSRP. That’s despite no official price reduction from AMD for this SKU so far, there’s also no indication of any planned adjustments. Nevertheless, this promotion could be a glimpse of a potential discount, especially considering the scarcity of RDNA2 models like the RX 6700 XT in the market.

The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT is equipped with the Navi 32 XL GPU, boasting 3456 Stream Processors. Notably, the card comes with a limited memory bus of 192-bits supporting 12GB GDDR6 memory configuration. This marks a reduction of 4GB when compared to the RX 7800 XT.

Both PowerColor models are equipped with a triple-fan cooling solution abut only the Hellhound SKU comes with factory overclocking to 2599 MHz. This model is also a bit thicker (2.5 slot design), while the Fighter serves as the company’s budget oriented design.
