ASUS is gearing up for the release of a DUAL OC model based on NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 4070 SUPER series. A leaked image of this new card has surfaced on the X platform courtesy of @momomo_us.

The RTX 4070 SUPER is poised to be the most intriguing SUPER card slated for launch next month. Equipped with the AD104-350 GPU boasting 7168 CUDA cores, the card has now been officially confirmed to sport 12 GB of memory, maintaining the exact configuration of its predecessor.

The design of the card appears to align with that of the RTX 4070 DUAL version, but there are some changes to the design. The SUPER version appears to be narrow and a bit shorter. That’s despite the SUPER card supposedly requiring more power (225W vs. 200W). More importantly, the leak confirms that even 4070 SUPER will incorporate a 12VHWPR power connector, instead of 8-pin as on the predecessor.

NVIDIA is reportedly set to unveil its new RTX 40 SUPER series in January 2024, with the 4070 SUPER taking the lead as the first card to hit the market. Sources suggest that NVIDIA will showcase the new series at CES 2024 during its Special Address livestream. While board partners are expected to reveal their designs shortly thereafter, the 4070 SUPER, in particular, is projected to be available starting January 17.
