Full GeForce RTX 40 specs leaked

NVIDIA has finalized the specs for the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series.

The RTX 4080 SUPER is set to feature the fastest memory among the GeForce RTX 40 card lineup. While the original RTX 4080 already boasted 22.4 Gbps memory, NVIDIA is enhancing the SUPER variant with a slight speed boost to 23 Gbps for its 16GB GDDR6X memory. This results in a 2.6% increase in bandwidth, reaching 736 GB/s across the 256-bit memory bus. The RTX 4070Ti/4070 SUPER will maintain using 21 Gbps memory speed.

Final clock data for the new series has been provided to board partners, revealing marginal adjustments. Notably, the RTX 4080 SUPER show the most substantial update, moving from 2205/2505 MHz (base/boost) to 2295/2550 MHz compared to the non-SUPER version.

For the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4070 SUPER, these SKUs are reported to maintain the same boost clocks as the original models (2610 MHz and 2475 MHz, respectively). Only cosmetic changes are observed in the base clocks, now standing at 2340 MHz (+30 MHz) and 1980 MHz (+60 MHz).

The TDP specifications are reported as 320W (4080S), 285W (4070TiS), and 220W for the RTX 4070 SUPER, with only the latter experiencing a small 20W increase in power consumption. All the custom variants that we know of feature 12VHPWR power connector, and there is no sign of models powered by standard connectors.

The expected launch schedule for the RTX 40 SUPER series is as follows: RTX 4070 SUPER on January 17, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER on January 24, and RTX 4080 SUPER concluding the launch window on January 31. Pricing details are yet to be confirmed.
