Chinese Peladn YO Mini-PCs to feature Radeon RX 7000M and GeForce RTX 40 Laptop GPUs
The three designs will compete for the status of becoming the official end product.
Peladn, a Chinese company known for its eye-catching graphics card designs, is venturing into the Mini-PCs market with its latest offerings. The company recently announced that it will introduce a high-performance mini-PC as part of the “YO” series. Official renders of the three distinct models were shared across social media platforms. Peladn wants to know what design people think looks best for the final product.
As per the available information, the YO Mini-PC is set to incorporate Intel Core 13/14 Gen series processors and will be paired with dedicated graphics. Although specific SKUs were not specified, it has been confirmed that the PC will be offered with either Radeon RX 7000 or GeForce RTX 40 mobile graphics options.
According to official statements, the design inspiration for Exterior A is drawn from spacecraft, featuring streamlined curves reminiscent of a low-drag spaceship exterior. Exterior B takes inspiration from Tetris, utilizing the golden ratio to divide areas, coupled with a black and white color scheme. The C design adopts the Bauhaus and minimalist design style, expressing a sense of stability and reliability akin to German architecture in its simplest form.
In the last few years, the landscape of high-end gaming Mini-PCs has changed a lot, and they are becoming more popular. These systems often deliver superior performance compared to conventional gaming consoles, all within a compact form factor. This achievement can be attributed to the use of desktop PC hardware instead of custom chips. This approach allows companies like Peladn to swiftly interchange hardware components or incorporate new mobile GPUs as they become available.
